As college costs continue to rise, a major deterrent to pursuing, and finishing, a college or university degree is affordability. Scholarships can give students the financial push needed to take a leap and pursue their dream towards a better future. The “Living Legacy” Scholarship Fund being offered by SaltWater Community Association Inc (SCA) seeks to do just that.
This wonderful organization has a service area from Bonavista to Clarenville and is offering Scholarships to well deserving graduates from; Discovery Collegiate in Bonavista, Bishop White – Port Rexton, St. Mark’s – Kings Cove, Heritage Collegiate – Lethbridge and Clarenville High School – Clarenville.
As an incorporated not-for-profit, SCA is focused on raising funds, creating awareness and promoting initiatives to serve the people who need them most. We believe in taking action in order to address some of the most pressing issues facing youth and families in our communities. That said, we invite for-profit businesses and willing donors to support our efforts to make a measurable difference in the lives of others.
For donations click below to download and fill in our donation sheet. The form will give you the pertinent information on the curriculum you want to choose for the scholarship, who’s name will appear on the scholarship and the rewards for the scholarship levels.
